When Blue turns Purple
The Rolex Oysterquartz is very much on trend with the current love for integrated bracelet sports watches. This one comes with a twist: the blue dial turned to nice shade of purple!
The Oysterquartz watches were overlooked for years, but interest is growing for these unusual Rolex watches. Rightfully so, Rolex followed a trend by starting to produce quartz watches, this is not something the company does very often. This reference 17000 has a super strong case with a great condition integrated bracelet (ref 17000b). The hands are a tad lighter shaded than the lume plots, but it is all original tritium.
‘L 10’ is stamped in the bracelet clasp. The watch has been fully serviced by our watchmaker and a new battery was fitted.
