The Rolex Day-Date is one of the most iconic and beautiful watches in the Rolex catalog. The Rolex Day-Date earned the nickname "President" after it was rumored President Dwight Eisenhower wore one, but Eisenhower actually wore a Rolex 18K yellow gold Oyster-Perpetual Datejust which Rolex gifted to him in 1953. DIAL & HANDS

The original and beautifully aged silver dial features factory-set diamond markers and has achieved a charismatic warm patina accomplishing a unique vintage aesthetic to the watch. Apart from the gentle patina and aging no real damage is present on the dial. The tritium lume plots all remain perfectly intact with no degradation present and have taken on a subtle eggshell color. The orignial tritium hands match the dial perfectly with no degradation visible under UV light isnpeciton. The date wheel is original with "open" 6's and 9's.
